Caden - Rescues 2the Rescue

Caden has been at the shelter since June 2017. He is extremely energetic, which has made placing him in a home very difficult. He has been returned from foster homes for being too energetic. Caden loves tennis balls more than anything and loves to play fetch. If he gets hold of two balls however, he becomes wary of losing them and will move away from people for fear of losing them. since he always seems to find a stray tennis ball, we need to comb the off leash parks before he's allowed in them. At the shelter Caden has adapted to the kennel life. He is ususally relaxed in his kennel, despite the ever changing population of the kennels. He will lunge behind the kennel doors when specific dogs walk by. He mostly ignores other dogs on walks, but has not been integrated into playgroups because of leash and barrier reactivity. He was wary of strangers when he first came in, but will now gladly greet anyone. Caden has been quick to learn new cues and working with our handlers, but has also been good at entertaining himself with a chew toy etc.
